Using pure therapeutic grade essential oils is a safe, natural option to protect and maintain your and your family’s health. Many stores have their own line of essential oils, and while they’re described as pure, there are is no FDA-approved regulations or standards for essential oils.  Learning about and using essential oils from someone you trust is key, and researching the company you’re considering.  Here is an article from dōTERRA on their own standard of quality.

Essential oils are effective and bring fast relief because they can penetrate cells.  When someone is diagnosed with a bacterial infection, they may be prescribed antibiotics.  But, for a viral infection, have you ever heard “you have to let it run its course?” Antibiotics are not effective against viruses, because they’re found in cells.  Essential oils are lipid - and so are our cells!  So they’re able to get inside the cell and they’re effective against threats found on the inside and outside of cells.

  • You can use essential oils internally in many ways.  Just be sure you see “supplement facts” on the bottle as those are safe to ingest (the ones that are unsafe to ingest will read “not for internal use”).
  • You can place 1 or 2 drops under your tongue, or mix them in a glass of water, or you can put drops in an empty veggie capsule and swallow like any other pill.
  • This application supports your digestive and immune system, and relieves issues in your mouth and throat.
